Honored to give an oral presentation at ICMAT 2025 Singapore on our latest work Aqueous Colloidal Perovskite Quantum Emitters!

We introduced a novel aqueous perovskite nanocrystal system, enabled by in-situ core-shell self-assembly and repurposing OAmX molecules, showing bright, color-tunable and stable emission in water . Excitingly, we also demonstrated single-photon emission in aqueous solution for the first time. The talk drew wide interest, and I hope more researchers will join this exciting journey into the world of aqueous perovskites. While this work does not fully resolve the stability challenge, it marks an important step toward practical aqueous perovskite emitters.

Huge thanks to Prof. Tze Chien Sum and our group for the support, and special appreciation to Prof. Anita Ho-Baillie, who chaired our session with humor and warmth, and even thoughtfully arranged post-talk photos for speakers and shared them afterward!

Glad to meet all the nice speakers – Prof. Iván Mora Seró, Prof. Ajay Kumar Jena, Prof. Kaifeng Wu, and Prof. Yi-Hsin Chien.
