Dr. HE Huajun (Cantonese: HO WahZeon, the inspiration behind “ZeonPhotonics”) is originally from Zhongshan, Guangdong, China (Linkedin). He earned his B.Sc. (2014) and Ph.D. (2019) at Zhejiang University, then conducted postdoctoral research with Prof. SUM Tze Chien at Nanyang Technological University (NTU). In 2023, he was promoted as Senior Research Fellow at NTU.

Dr. HE’s research focuses on aqueous and sustainable quantum nanomaterials, ultrafast nonlinear optical techniques, and quantum biophotonics applications. Dr. HE has published over 20 peer-reviewed articles in journals including Nature Communications, Advanced Materials, Light: Science & Applications, and Chemical Science, with more than 4,000 citations and an H-index of 18 (Google Scholar, ORCID). He holds a U.S. invention patent, a PCT patent, a Singapore provisional patent, and a Chinese invention patent.
